SOAP
We want you to actively pursue time with the Lord through Prayer, Reading and Understanding the Scripture, and Applying it to our daily lives.
What is SOAP?
SOAP is an acronym for: Scripture, Observation, Application, and Prayer. As you do this, write down your thoughts in a journal. Journaling is a great way to record and process your thoughts & what God is sharing with you.

Start by reading the Scripture. Pause at moments that stand out to you, highlight specific words or phrases that stand out to you. Write those things out. You can also write the entire verse out.

Take some time to observe what you read and ask questions like:
What is going on in this scripture? Who are the characters? What is the setting? What is the emotion?
*These observations can be either one verse or a whole book.

Contemplate how you are taking the observations from the scriptures you read and apply them to your life.

Spend some time thanking God for what you got out of the scriptures. Pray that He will help you to apply these into your daily life/routine.
